Bitcoin and Ethereum Gained

Bitcoin and Ethereum have gained some value in the past 24 hours. The largest cryptocurrency by market cap is up by 5.7%. It stands at the $21,400 mark, according to info from CoinMarketCap. Similarly, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, Ethereum, has risen by %10.9 and is at around $1,140.

As Bitcoin and Ethereum have gained, the global market cap has experienced a gain of 6.7% to $921.5 billion.

Solana and Polkadot have also gained double digits in the past twenty-four hours. Solana 18.2% and 11.50%.

The recent crypto crash has tested the market. The fact that bitcoin and Ethereum gained is still not enough to offset the losses it has been through. Bitcoin had dropped 30% and Ethereum 37% over the same period. Bitcoin has lost nearly 68 percent of its value from its all-time high of $69,000 in November 2021, while Ethereum has lost 76 percent of its value since its all-time high of $4,891 in the same month.

Liquidity

According to data from CoinGlass, in the last twenty-four hours, $406 billion has been liquidated in the crypto market. Ethereum is taking the lead with $160 million. Bitcoin follows with $131 million and Solana with $8.8 million all at the same time.

Stock markets worldwide are in the red during today’s trading hours, apart from the crypto market. The FTSE index in the United Kingdom is down 1.45%, the DAX index in Germany is down 2.08 percent, the CAC index in France is down 1.63 percent, and the Sensex index in India is down 1.66 percent.
